No quit!

My customers have been using the salos and always ask about them! That’s the best compliment when my customers enjoy the gear we use!

Nice reel

I was fairly impressed with the reel except for the fact that upon first inspection I noticed a couple of dings on the spool lip which resembles tooling marks. I don’t know how much effect on line abrasion this will have but I believe it is a QA issue and not in the design.

Salos reels for Texas salt

I guide fishing trips on the mid coast area in Texas, I’ve already had 2 dunked in the water and had to hop out of the boat to retrieve them. They are still working like they were when purchased. Not something you see on smaller reels made for the bays. I’d say I’m gonna buy more but that will be for the ones that I can’t retrieve some day. If they get dunked just put them in fresh water for a bit to wash out. At the end of the day I opened it up, did a little re grease and they’ve been great.
