Spanish Roja Garlic

Very happy with my order for Spanish Roja

I ordered late and expected "out of stock". Intead, the order was fullfilled and shipped very quickly. I planted in early December 2025 (I'm in northern coastal CA) in a raised bed and all the bulbs came up and are about 12 inches now, which looks like a good, tasty crop.

Hardy growers in spite of squirrels!

Spanish Roja garlic has thriving green shoots growing in my raised beds after fall planting. I was happily surprised that even the bulbs that the pesky squirrels dug out and left lying on top of the soil had managed to root themselves before I eventually noticed their plight and replanted them. Hoping their tenacity (the garlic, not the squirrels) bodes well for a tasty harvest later in the summer.
