VAT Antler Stain

Post surgery project

The days leading up to my surgery, I found myself trying to figure out what I was going to do to occupy my time after I was home for a month. I decided that I wanted to restore a dead head muley I found in Wyoming while Antelope hunting. So I ordered the antler stain, after a few days home from the hospital I got to work on my project. Needless to say the antler stain was exactly what I needed. The rack looks like I just got it back from the taxidermist. Quality product and shipping was fast, I have a few more skulls in mind so I ordered the degreaser and the bone bright. Can’t wait to see what those products do! I will definitely be ordering more items from you guys

Antler stain

Works like a dream. Made a real nice set of sun bleached elk antlers look like a fresh set right off it's dome.

It does a good job

Had a nice dead head I wanted to redo. Used the coffee bean method and fooled around with various satins but didn’t like the results I was getting. Went ahead and order some “Antler Stain” and followed the instructions. It actually turned out better than I thought. I put my first stain on and let it dry for a day. From there it was pretty simple. I’d advise just letting the coats dry for a day to really let it set. I recommend.
