ZuZu Drift

I am a long time user and advocate of barefoot sandals such as Luna Sandals, and Vibram 5 fingers foot wear of many different types over many years. I bought the ZuZu drift. I recently wore them on a rainy day here in Florida, on a former golf course turned into a community park. I walked the streets first, going through puddles, leaping over them and generally putting them to the test on slippery slopes down to previous water traps. I wear them to the store and just anywhere. I have come to really like these sandals and forget they are even on my feet. I have had to play with fit and straps a bit and I am always impressed how they feel on. I swim around 15 miles a month, both pool and open water. To give you an idea of my fitness level.

Comfortable and stylish! It doesn’t cause any discomfort at all. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and the quality is really good. Much better than I expected!

I absolutely love these sandals! Prior to trying the Zuzu Drift, I had Earthrunners that I loved the look of, but they just didn’t fit my foot shape very well. I struggled with the toe post and my heel never felt secure with the lace system. These are perfect for my feet! It took about a week for my feet to get used to the feel of the straps, but now I forget that I’m wearing them. Once you adjust the straps there is no shifting or stretching, they stay right where you Velcro them. And I love that there is no toe post to cause irritation. I purchased a 39 and they are true to size - I wear an EU 40 or US 9 in most closed toe shoes, but typically size down to a EU 39 or US 8.5 in sandals for a closer fit and these are perfect. Thank you, Zuzu for the perfect minimal sandals that have freed my feet! I will definitely buy another color in the future!
