I am new to fly fishing but already have quite a few rods. Some mid range as well. As soon as I casted this Thomas and Thomas rod, I could tell how much more quality it is than the rest of my rods. It’s light and loads well. I am not a great caster and this rod makes me look like I know what I’m doing. I can’t wait to try an avantt. The men at Bears Den were great helping me pick a reel and line. They are always very helpful.
