TERRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT ORDER

Absolutely horrible experience with SLLAC. I paid extra for 1.67 high-index lenses specifically because your website/support pushed the idea of thinner, more aesthetic lenses for a strong prescription. The lenses arrived visibly sticking out past the frame, and instead of taking responsibility for the misleading expectation they created, customer service repeatedly gave me the same generic explanation that “high-index lenses can still have thickness.” I KNOW high-index lenses don’t magically become paper-thin. That was never the issue. The issue is that I followed YOUR recommendation and paid extra for the upgraded material, only to receive glasses with lenses visibly protruding from the frame. What makes this worse is how they handled the complaint. Instead of actually addressing the fact that the result did not match what was represented, they kept repeating the same explanation as if I didn’t understand how prescription lenses work. Then, when I asked for a reasonable solution, they refused to remake them with 1.74 unless I paid AGAIN, offering only a partial discount. So essentially: pay extra for the “thinner” option, receive lenses sticking out of the frame, complain about it, and then get told that thickness is normal and YOU need to pay more to fix it. I would not recommend SLLAC, especially for anyone with a strong prescription. If you care about how your glasses actually look and fit, I would seriously consider spending your money somewhere else.
