Daily Folio A5 Review

I purchased this as a Bible cover so this review will be based on those parameters. The description doesn't necessarily promote this as a Bible cover but the dimensions still worked so that's what I use it for. The Bible I have in my Daily Folio A5 is a thinline NLT Bible by Scriptura and it is definitely a tight fit, however the cover has started to wear in nicely so it's not so stiff anymore. With all that said, I think this product is great for a Bible cover. There's not a ton of pockets or extra space so it doesn't leave much room for junk which I really appreciate. I like the "felt/fuzzy" padding for the front and back of the Bible to slip into. I really appreciate the humble look the cover has; it doesn’t stand out and it's not flashy. My only critiques are these (again this is based on this product being used as a Bible cover): 1) I wish the product was about ½" - 1" thicker as well as taller to allow a little bit of breathing room and space for the pen board (I had to remove my pen board to fit my Bible) 2) a handle on the spine would be a nice addition however, I don't think it is necessary. I have no problem carrying it under my arm 3) not a fan of having two zippers. I never use the second one but that's just me. Maybe other folks do All in all, I think the Daily Folio A5 makes an incredible Bible cover and I have really, really enjoyed carrying it. Side note: I think the Daily Folio A5 would make a really good book cover as well for hardcover books. But once you start getting into 400+ page books, they become too thick to fit into the cover. So again, I would prefer the cover to be around 2" thick.
