Grandpas Large Automatic Feeder

UPDATE: I have received my replacement for the damaged one and it is in good condition! Looking forward to seeing how Grandpa’s feeder compares to the rent-a-coop tread feeder I’ve had. Out of the box Grandpa’s seems to be better quality. Wish it had an anti-roost cap to keep hens off lid like rent-a-coops but others then that I like what I’m seeing. Original review: First one I received was damaged and taken a week to get them to send out a new one. They have been hard to communicate with. No phone number, everything through email which has taken much longer to resolve this issue. I’ve shipped damaged one back and waiting to receive a new one. At this point unsure about quality but has been frustrating dealing with their customer service.

Love it.. Girls are still in 2nd week of training 🤣. Saves a lot of waste. Added a non slip strip to step from bunnings, which stopped the older hen from sliding off the step.

We have 3 Grandpa feeders now and one is 9 years old and still going strong. We have 1 other brand but it is not as easy to train the chickens nor cater for the different sizes of birds. I won’t bother trying anything else now.
