Lanikai Cotton Sun Hat

Bought one of these hats 10+ years ago and time for a new one (the old one’s still lovely).. Newest version as beautiful as its predecessor. I absolutely love this hat: it’s casual but smart looking, material is SPF, it’s easily carried and fits nicely— stays on my head even in high winds— I just pull it further forward; and the color (honey?) is gorgeous. Very satisfied!

Great hats for sun protection/Great shopper experience

I ordered 5 Lanikai hats this summer after an unexpected surgery on my neck that required sun protection during healing. I ordered mostly “neutral” colors like taupe, olive, navy and pink but ordered the periwinkle too because it was so different. Love them all, but had to return the pink because it did not fit the same as the other 4 colors. Oddly, my favorite turned out to be the olive; it goes with everything. The Village Hat Shop will be my “go to” for hats, going forward. They were very easy to work with for the return.

Love these hats! I have one in periwinkle, green and black. I think they are very chick, though not dressy. I wear them for shopping, going out to lunch, going to the beach and gardening. Their wide brims provide lots of shade. There is a string tie inside so they must fit any head.
