The 90 degree heel is where it’s at on these boots but one thing that brunt has seriously improved on based on owning both the Marin and the distasio that these are the perfect combo in comfort and tread for every day use and on wildland fires although being under 8” it makes up for its lightweight and easy grip tread on unstable rocky terrain or ash covered ground.

Very impressive boots. Great price point and they are extremely comfortable! I work 12 hours every day and these boots saved my feet! No break in required. They were ready for work right out of the box! 100% will be buying only Brunt work boots from now on

I like how they dont need broken in and are comfy other than the heel idk why but the heel of the boot is shredding rhe back of my foot. Had two reallt bad blisters after one day and the boots fit perfect so idk why they doing that. Prob will be sendinf these back kinda disappointed i was really excited about these boots and heard alot of good things.
