Looks easy to change bought it thinking element had gone didnt realise friend had used it and switched it to one sliceDOH never mind will keep for when need one

Element efficiency

After replacing the elements, as per instructions, I find that they do not have an even toasting on each side of the bread. If I increase the timing the toast has one side over done and the other side lightly toasted. Are the replacement elements not made to the same specification as the original when the toaster was bought new?
