SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer

Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer

Great little device who can easily connect directly to Home Assistant via and BLE proxy. Perfect to measuring temperature from different locations throughout the home. I just wish it had a better mounting system so it could be easily mounted outside out of the sun. Nothing some magnets can't fix with a metal plate, so it can easily be removed for relocation or battery change. Would happily buy again for future projects.

2nd Purchase

Excellent product. Within 50 meters of mobile phone , and passing through an external wall, and twice internal walls, the signal from sender to receiver fell 3 meters short, but that is no big deal. The 'App' coped well with 2nd sensor, hooked up in seconds. Delivery out with Amazon was good.

Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer/Hygrometer

I’m using this as the external temperature element in my home management system. I had originally thought I might use micro and temperature sensor in a waterproof container but the Switchbot device has proven to be cheaper in the long run and actually a better fit for my requirements. The only issue I have is that I have not yet found how to receive data without using their cloud services hence 4 stars
