Love this subwoofer!
The PB-1000 Pro is the first audiophile quality sub I've had, and I have no regrets about the purchase. I've tried a few different lower costing subs for $400-500 from three different major speaker manufacturers, and all they did was intensify a boomy effect that my main left & right speakers could easily
produce, but the best of the three barely made it down to 30hz in an audible range.
The PB-1000 is capable of producing a nice rich rolling effect of 30hz frequencies, and well under. It's also capable of this in a very acoustically difficult room setup. I can't describe my entire shape & setup of the room here, but the variable phase adjust was a lifesaver for me. Going all the way to 180° was worse than 0, but after careful adjusting in between, the deep rumbling bass became more present around 90°. Being able to adjust this through the app was also another lifesaver, as it would've made things much more difficult to keep getting up and down from my listening spot to find the perfect settings.
This subwoofer is very much worth buying. I'm hearing sounds in new & familiar music that I never knew was there, and enjoying it again like I did many years ago!
