Very accurate, very sensitive. I was looking for a cup anemometer (particularly because it’s not dependent that it be directed at the wind direction) that will read light wind accurately, and this is it. I use it mounted on a light stand as a training aid for extreme long range shooting. Hand held anemometers (except for something extremely expensive) are not accurate at all until wind speed is at least 10mph.

Works great for competition 22 bench rest shooting. Measures easily 2 mph wind. I mounted it on a tripod.
