I love the Defender, the sound quality is amazing the volume top notch and not to mention all the features of lights, music modes , the bass thumps and you can feel it in your chest and the sound travels across the outdoors and over water, hands down the best, love the quality, ruggedness and all around waterproof speaker, have used it for 2 years and I'm super impressed cant wait to add some more to our lineup

Outstanding Product

I purchaed a 26 inch sound bar for my side x side about 4 yrs ago. Love it so much I decided to by a defender for around the house. This defender is louder than my soundbar and has a great sound. Probably going to buy another one soon!

Worth it!

I was going back and forth between this speaker and the turtle box speaker. After looking a numerous reviews and comparing one to the other, I decided to go with the defender. The $150 savings going with this vs. the turtle box is what was most attractive and ultimately the deciding factor. I work in construction and needed a speaker that could withstand the harsh elements of Arizona and could drown out the loud noise of all the construction equipment in operation. This speaker has exceeded my expectations and the battery life on a full charge will get me through a couple days playing all shift long. It has already endured a drop or two, rain, dust, you name it. It’s holding strong! An addition for home will be in the near future. If you are contemplating between ecoxgear or turtle box. I highly recommend EcoXGear, unless you want to spend more for no reason.
