Versatile Mixing Colour

I picked up Psylocilbin, and this is a really interesting shade. The formula is comfortable and hydrating on my lips, and while there is fragrance, I don't find it overly cloying. The colour is what really makes this one stand out. It's an unusual greige—a very opaque, light cement shade—and it's surprisingly useful. On its own, it's an interesting editorial-looking lip, but I've been particularly enjoying it as a mixing shade. It can soften brighter or darker lip colours beautifully, and placing a little in the centre of the lips creates a subtle highlighting effect that can make them look fuller. Because it's so opaque, a little goes a long way, so I can see this tube being quite versatile. It's definitely not an obvious everyday nude, but if you enjoy experimenting with lip colour or mixing shades, Psylocilbin is a very useful addition to a collection.
