I’ve been looking for a truly Murky Forest scent for a long time, and I think I finally found it.
I want to point out that this isn’t the common petrichor scent most people associate with rain hitting pavement. No. This is forest petrichor. You’re walking through wet leaves, damp earth, and the murky floor of a forest after rain.
It’s an uncommon kind of petrichor, and it’s absolutely lovely.
There’s also a really interesting difference between smelling it up close on the skin versus smelling it in the air around you. On the skin, it feels almost magnified, if that makes sense. The murkiness becomes much more pronounced and enveloping, while in the air it feels more diffuse and atmospheric.
This is much closer to the wet, shadowy forest I’ve been trying to find.

DELICIOUS, amazing scents. One of the ones I got was Lime Cola and it was amazingly photorealistic! I ordered for Snoqalamie, my favorites ended up being Lime Cola + Tome (exactly like old pages).

Smells like pine and forest so I am happy with this scent. I wanted to feel like I was walking through a forest so this is pretty close
