The color pay off is WAY lighter than all of the marketing materials. While I know it is supposed to be a buildable balm, there is just no color on me and certainly nothing like the ads (for reference I am light-medium neutral skin tone so it shouldn’t be an issue). I am almost wondering if I got a one from a bad batch? The formula is lovely, though..

I love the formula but I’m not getting the color pay off as advertised. I have pale lips and this barely shows on me after several, multiple swipes. Is there a trick I don’t know about? Hope there’s more dark shades coming with better pay off. My other two balms are great but too pink for me. Still a great formula, not sticky or drying.
