EINSTAR-Prosumer Portable 3D Scanner

I’ve been using the Einstar Prosumer 3D Scanner and honestly for the price it’s pretty solid. Setup was straightforward and the software is easy to get used to, so I didn’t have to spend a ton of time figuring things out. The scan quality is good, especially for medium-sized objects, and it works well for basic prototyping and general use. It does struggle a bit with really small or shiny parts, and you do need a decent computer to run it smoothly, but overall it gets the job done and feels like a great value without having to spend a ton on a high-end scanner.

Awesome product, and customer service is top notch. Unboxed and was up and running in under an hour. ExStar Software is very intuitive and easy to use, same with ExModel software. Was a great way to get objects into Solidworks.

Works Great, I'm getting the hang of the program. One major recommendation is to add a tactile dot to note which of the 3 buttons on the scanner is the scan start/stop button. I don't want to jolt the scanner and mess up the scanning, so I'm going to added a dot to that button myself. Otherwise, great device so far, works great. I do feel the tracking on the .1mm setting is very hard to get right, and .2mm or .3mm is way easier due to distance of scanner from part.
