For Ford Sync2 System Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Almost perfect

I really like having android auto in my truck and being able to use the old system too. The only issue is I have a humming sound when using the new system. Not sure if it is a system issue or if I did something when installing it.

CARABC - 2015 Ford Edge

The product works as described. I would have given it five stars if the directions were better. Even the video linked in the directions left a lot of unanswered questions. In my install, there were several wires / connectors that were not used in my particular vehicle application. I am not sure what those connectors are used for, but it would be nice if there was some explanation. Also, I had to fish the brains of the unit down under the front passenger part of the dash as there wasn't enough space directly behind the infotainment system, I would recommend the product if looking to add Carplay or Android Auto to an older Sync 2 system.

Works Well

Instructions were easy to follow. Install was simple. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the volume level is lower than using regular Bluetooth connection.
