Primer is used under all plaster finishes.

It is applied to all surfaces prior to starting the polished plaster process.

For Lucidato and Metallic stucco finishes, you are advised to lightly sand or scrape over the primer to knock out any large grains.
Applied with roller or brush to stabilize and prime all surfaces and to provide a key.
