It was very effective especially pulling decoying birds in to very close range. The ducks in my area had not seen this product before and seeing something different really got their attention. My only concerns were battery life and balance. The slightest ripple caused the decoying to flip over. I hunt flooded crop impoundments only and even the dog’s wake capsized the device. I am trying to figure out a solution to the constant capsizing but yet to find success.

it works fine but the remote is a hassle. It would be better if it had a simple on/off switch and did not require a remote
