5A LONG NYLON TIPS

First time user here. I was attracted by the extra long stats. Wasn’t sure if a 5A or 5B was what I was looking for…so I started with a 3 pack of the 5A. Live rock gig outdoors. I was able to lean into the stick without worrying about small room acoustics. They felt good in my hands, enough wood to hold onto. The wear and tear (I’m a controlled player, not basher) was acceptable. Mostly dents of a sort rather than sawdust falling off. I’ll be using them again soon, and hope to find them just as effective as the first time. Big nylon tips, so you won’t miss hitting the bells of the cymbals. Good stuff here so far.

So far I am enjoying the 5a long sticks I just received . I have thought about a longer stick for a while. There is a little bit of getting used to after using a 5a from a different company. Right from the start the 5a long has a nice feel and balance. Overall I’m really pleased with the Woodies 5a long.

I love the fact that there are a half inch longer than your standard drumsticks. And yes, I need that half an inch. They play well. They feel good.
