If it seems like your kind of thing it is
First id like to say I absolutely love this guitar but it isnt perfect and there are some cons to it. Ill start with the pros, the matte finish surprised me with how good it feels, a problem ive had on every guitar ive owned is my skin getting clammy and my right forearm wanting to stick to the body but there is none of that here. The natural finish on the neck is also not at all sticky with a little moisture. The output jack placement is great especially because i play in classical position and come from play ibanez s style guitars. Another parallel with s style guitars is how thin and light the body is, the body shape does not get in your way at all and is the most comfortable i ever played. The neck is also extremely comfortable to play on and I had essentially no real adjustment period getting used to playing on an 8 string. Now for the cons. The guitar is probably as you would expect a little neck heavy and wants to dive with a strap and even when playing sitting. Im not personally able to sit with the guitar in my lap without having to actively hold it in place while adjusting stuff on my amp or looking at tabs. This is a combination of the balance point on the lower horn and how slick the finish is. The only other real con with this guitar, for me, is that im used to extremely low action and i just have not been able to achieve that with this guitar. The action from the 1 to 12 is fine I dont have any issues with getting hammer ons from nowhere for the most part although on the high b and e strings it can be tough to get the resonance you want, but past the 12 fret it feels almost impossible for the b and e strings. In general it takes a lot more effort for sweeps and to play past the 12th fret than im used to even after having it professionally set up. Im willing to say that might just be a me issue because i usually go through great lengths even modifying guitars to get maximally low action(under 1mm at 24th fret), but theres fret buzz if the action is lowered any further than where I currently have it(around 1.3mm at 24th fret). All in all the guitar is amazing and I enjoy playing it a lot, there was no adjustment period switching to an 8 string other than having to get used to the action and if you are on the edge about getting one id definitely reccomend it.

an angel disguised as a demon
this guitar is everything i could have dreamed of. playing this guitar feels like driving the batmobile.. it can pretty much do everything and more. tosins fluence signature pickups really do live up to the hype, as i have been experimenting a lot with heavy distortion, and have been able to actually maneuver the mud and sludge while still achieving a desired tone (shoutout 5-way push-pull pot as well).
additionally, i was fortunate enough to attend the abasi concepts guitar forum in november ‘23, and - along with others i’m sure - made a comment about the steep entry point, and lo and behold 7 months later they delivered on the legion stealth line.
truly the best guitar company around. incredibly grateful to own such a wonderful piece of equipment.
