Back by popular demand, Black Jasmine is our black tea version of a favorite floral tea. Originally, Jasmine teas were made from green or slightly oxidized (pouchong) leaves. However, we were able to source a limited amount of this black tea version from Fujian Province, China. It is difficult to find more, so get it while you can!

JASMINE JUST RIGHT!
I was surprised how good this one tastes! I normally find jasmine a bit too overpowering, but I typically enjoy floral teas. Since this was a black tea blend, I decided to try it. The jasmine is "just right" - so perfect for me.

A great way to start the morning
I tend to be an English Breakfast morning drinker, with the more caffeinated the jolt the better. However, that approach can be difficult on an empty stomach. I've started drinking this in the morning instead and have had all the pleasure with none of the queasiness.

Aromatic and floral
finding a jasmine tea with a black tea base is fairly difficult, and it has always been wonderful that Harney provides. The leaves of this tea are long and beautiful, the jasmine flowers are plentiful and fragrant. It’s a lighter black tea so not as full bodied as some, which goes well with the jasmine. I find the aftertaste slightly more astringent than I’d like so for me it’s a 4 star tea. But I am quite glad to have it in my collection.
