Good...but with a fatal flaw
I've had this turntable for nearly 2 months and am blown away by the sound quality.
But, like other people, I'm completely puzzled by the anti-skate mechanism. It's extremely flimsy, very fiddly and very easy to knock off.
And, in spite of trying all 3 of the groove settings am still experiencing skating at the start of a record ( the first few seconds of music are jumped)!! Once playing everything seems fine but I now have stratched records due to this issue!!!
Sonically it's a marvel.....but???
I'm frustrated to put it mildly that such a good product is flawed in such a way. My previous turntable never had this issue!!

Time for a change, but not sure about the default cartridge
After a long while of nudging my old faithful Dual 505-3 into operation, I bit the bullet and this turntable is my chosen replacement. Overall I am delighted, although getting used to having to operate it manually (on/off, no auto arm lift) will take a bit of adjusting to. It is solid, looks good, although the anti-skate device is fiddly to attach and looks a weak point?
What I am undecided upon is the sound of the cartridge/performance. It is very clear and detail is excellent, but I am finding it a bit 'shrill' to what I am used to. Some of this may be my ears, but I was very happy with the decades old Ortofon that I was used to in the DUAL deck.
Also I am not liking the 'distortion' primarily with female voices - that other commentators may be calling sibilance? This is a big concern. I could not justify 200 euros more for the alternative cartridge, especially without the ability to audition it. I now wonder what my options are.
