The best for what it is

I was looking for a trekking pole tent that had good space and this is where I landed on. After arriving I immediately unpacked and wanted to test it out only to realize that my tent stakes hadn’t arrived yet (didn’t order them with the tent), so I improvised with chopsticks. Thats how excited I was and for good reason. The tent is very roomy, light and compact when packed. My only problem was setting it up because finding a spot in my yard to set it up where it was straight proved to be difficult. After trying it 3 times k finally got it but since I have non- adjustable trekking poles (125cm) setup was just the one thing that made me return it and I will get a smaller tent, probably the x-dome pro 1+ once its back in stock. My use of this would have been going to the swiss alps and bivouacking there but good luck finding a spot in a mountain that is big and flat enough in addition to not being too rocky for trekking poles. So in conclusion: if your plan is to go somewhere flat and soft this is the perfect tent for 1-2 people. As I am going in the mountains in a month I will get a fully freestanding tent for easy setup, so very sadly this is not the tent for me…
