Great product!!
The protection they offer is fantastic!! Great for deck rods and hauling them in the truck. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the padding makes it very difficult to get the rod in and out without hanging up on the guides, especially an ultralight and they are to bulky for my rod locker.

Great investment. I had a brand new rod that I didn't have in a sleeve and 3 in a sleeve, all 4 in my hand and got caught in the screen door and the one without the sleeve got the tip broken off.

You will like or hate it. On one hand the extra cushioning on the top portion is great in terms of protecting the tips from impact but it also added extra weight to the top 1/3 of the rod. When you lift the rod up especially ones that are medium light, you will notice a significant bend. Other that that, it is well built and will last for a long time.
