SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet

Great so far

Been using it for our newborn for the last 1 week (that’s how old our baby is) and it seems to be able to make the baby sleep continuously until it is feeding time, when he starts crying. But 3 hours of sleep is priceless and snoo is the reason.

Expensive and Non-Customizable

Had I known that something this expensive could not be customized, I never would have gotten it. The sound is paired to motion, which makes sense if the company making the machine wants you to not hear the rocking of the components (that often fail). This is strange to say but the white noise is absolutely the cheapest sound ever. Only used it for a night or two because we felt like we were being tormented. The speaker is right underneath the baby’s head- which now I know is against the American Pediatrics Association’s recommendations, and SO loud, it seems dangerous. I reached out to customer service because I thought I was missing something, surely you can turn off the sound and just use the rocking motion, but no. I can’t believe I spent money on this, and now I can’t return it. A 30 day return window, when your baby could come any day, is ludicrous.

New snoo arrived Dirty!

This was my second snoo. First one I rented which was clean and amazing. This time around decided to buy a new one. Big mistake! It arrived and baby was born same day premature. By the time we got home from nicu and took snoo out of box to set up I discovered it was used and dirty. The plug was connected and plug box was full of candy wrappers! The snoo itself was soiled on mattress and side netting! I cleaned best I could. By the time I had a chance to reach out to company it was a few days past a month. Dealing with premature baby and holidays. You think they would be a little more understanding. I had pictures with the date. They have no phone number so you can’t speak to anyone. The snoo and bundle cost me almost $1500 and this is how they treat customers. Never again. Would never recommend this company. I am reporting them to BBB
