scent longevity has changed from previous purchases

very disappointed with this purchase. I have had a couple of these kits given as gifts and this was my first personal purchase. The scents are diluted. im lucky if it lasts 5 mins, a great difference from any of my older sets. I assuming a corporate decision to dilute the formulas? but 100% difference in longevity of scent.
