Classic chambray with interesting detail

I’ve contemplated buying this for a while and finally did. It’s a classic chambray popover with some fun stitching at the sleeves to make things interesting. I am usually an M or an L and I went with M and glad I did. The body of the shirt is very roomy and long. An L would have been too big all around. Considered sizing down to a S but would surely be too small /short in the arms. The stitching around the wrists hits low forearm — I haven’t decided how I feel about that part yet. It’s not uncomfortable and it doesn’t look bad it just feels a bit awkward. Sleeve length is almost never an issue for me —my arms are average length. If your arms are long this might bother you. Overall a classic shirt that I think I’ll get a lot of use out of.

Ordering on line is always chance-y so I was very pleased with the fit (perfect), the quality (well made), and the overall design. Love it. Will be wearing it tomorrow at cocktails.
