C3-60

I like this guitar pick a lot. It really seems to bring out the mid and high level-tones compared to the more dull sound of a thicker and dryer, textured guitar pick. I do like the feel of this guitar pick better than the feel of my blue chip but it’s debatable as to which one sounds better. I certainly like the feel of the token in my hand!

I like the feel of the pick, and the tone is fair, but I find the finish, even on the bevels, has a satin feel. It causes audibly more pick noise that my current pick, a Blue chip TP1R-50. This satiny feel makes the grip secure, but requires noticeably more force and energy to move the pick across the string, and makes the tone just a bit edgy or raspy as a result. I have arthritis in my hands, and I noticed more pain and fatigue after 30-60 seconds of playing, and had to stop. I have tried polishing the bevels with 400 grit sandpaper, and it did improve the tone and feel. I'm going to try some 800 or 1200 when I can either find it in my shop, or buy some more. I also bought a C2-60, and it has the same issues. At least so far, I prefer the tone of the C3-60.

I can't put my guitar down. I got the Amber, Tan and Green. All great! Quickly got used to the feel of the Tan and Green. The Amber feels like an Ultex but grippier(?). I love all of them. Will do specific practice sessions with each then maybe I'll have a favorite. Happy to've discovered Token!
