A Fun and Engaging Maths Resource

This is a fantastic resource for helping students practise area and perimeter in a fun and meaningful way. The “My Name” activity gives students an opportunity to apply their mathematical skills while creating something personal and engaging. The clear grid design makes the activity easy for students to follow, and the worked examples and answer pages make it convenient for teachers to use. I particularly like how students calculate the area and perimeter of each letter before finding the totals for their name. It is a great hands-on, low-prep activity that can be used in the classroom for independent work, revision, or an engaging introduction to area and perimeter. My students really enjoyed this activity! Some found it challenging and some picked it up straight away! I love how there are extra templates to make more words!
