We have been using cheap probe thermometers for years only to end up having them fail after 1 to 2 years right when you need them. The thermapen is entirely different. It feels sturdy and substantial. It wakes up the moment you touch it. Readings really are instantaneous, no more opening the oven, sticking in a probe and waiting for it to settle on a temperature. You can quickly hit a few points and get food right back into the heat before it all escapes. It is a serious product and if its reputation for longevity is true then 100% worth the price.

Great buy

I love my new Thermapen One. I waited for a long time to buy a high-quality cooking thermometer, and I found this brand while searching on google. I am so happy that I finally found a proper thermometer that I can use for all sorts of cooking (baking bread, cakes, roasting, checking the correct thermometer of my ingredients before adding them specially when I am baking). I no longer have to guess if my bread is cooked yet. It works fast. The price was great, too as it was on sale when I bought it. I can definitely recommend this to others.

Love my new Thermopen One

I’ve used a Thermopop for years but this is next level. Being left handed made the viewing angle a little awkward but I’m getting used to it. I love the speed. Great addition to my bbq toolbox
