Beautiful model but very fragile lighting and wiring. All lights worked when tested during the build. Unfortunately, the final lights to be be plugged in did not work (for the rooftop signs). I had to try and disassemble the model but couldn’t find the issue and had to request replacement lights and wires. Reinstalling the lights and wires will takes many hours.

I love Shiinamachi Station! It's like a centerpiece. It was a bit difficult to put together what with so many pieces but I took my time and the end result is so satisfying! The lighting is spectacular and this looks like the real building. Very happy I got this one to add to the collection! Having the instruction manual divided into three separate books was a great idea. A high-quality piece, very pleased with my purchase.

Started the build about a week ago. Directions are relatively clear and when they weren't, I was able to figure things out. Build is going well. As with most lego type builds, some of the pieces don't hold together well and will fall apart spontaneously. Thank God for Super Glue.
