I love the flexible frame; I love the view; and I appreciate the classic style. I own more Monocles than any other google. I’ve used Oakleys, Smith, and just picked up a pair of Shred Gratify goggles. But the simplicity & excellence of the Monocle keeps me coming back. For racing (mostly night-time), I use single lenses—I never an issue with fogging. For coaching & free-skiing, I love the CBL lenses. I’m kinda bummed that the CBL Blast lens is no longer available, and I wish the CBL 2.0 were offered for the Monocle, but I don’t see it happening. Still it’s the goggle I swear by. As for the comments about lens-fogging, make sure your goggle straps never touch the inside face of your lenses. And replace the fogging lenses with a new lens. I’m pretty hard on my goggles. I run hot when I am the slightest bit active, but as a coach I stand around a lot. I am out in all sorts of weather conditions. Based on my experience, the only time Shred goggles fog is when the inside of the lens has been compromised. Monocles are my rec: although not cheap, they are much less than other pairs out there, and they get the job done. Well.

High quality materials. Holds true to the s2 rating in partly sunny weather. Great lenses, construction seems great overall.
