I love the new One Lid so much! You guys really nailed this. Brilliant.
I had the One Lid on my Thicc40 packed in my totebag for a lake cruise and I wasn't worried about it leaking at all. I knew it was in the off position and nothing was going to change that. I suggest grabbing these for your older Buddies.

I have been holding off my review of the new lid. I thought it looked weird. I feel I have given it a fair chance and, well, I AM A FAN!!
I like the sleek look. I have no qualms about dropping my Thicc in my purse. There's no latch to worry about getting jostled opened. It's so easy to use and to clean. I am an older(ish) lady and I was afraid I would have trouble getting the new lid on and off. Nope. I have had no issues. I like the plastic straw over the metal - that is purely my personal preference since they both work equally well. Grab some extra lids for the Buddies already on your shelves.

If your Thicc Buddy didn't come with this lid, it is definitely a must buy. I was a fan of the 'Classic' lid before they started coming with the flip straw lid, but this one is way better than expected compared both previous versions. My first Thicc Buddy 50 came with the 'Classic' lid and my newest Thicc Buddy 40 came with the Flip Straw version. I ordered this with my 40 to immediately swap to this one instead. It is far less chunky looking than previous lids. The spout is much smaller than previous iterations, but I've had no issues with flow. The switch works very well, and has a faint clicking sound when in place to either close, sip or straw. Instead of the original plastic straw on the 'Classic', it comes with a stainless steel straw, which is a bonus that I have not yet used. The lid seals very well though it did take a couple uses before it seemed to twist on and off the Thicc Buddy easily. The seal is good and the only 'spills' were from some excess fluid in the spout after closing it, and even that we're talking an easily wipeable drop or two. The only 'downside' I've had is that the lid itself doesn't have much to grip, so it can be tough to remove if you twisted it on too tight. Highly recommended upgrade either way if your Thicc Buddy didn't already come with this.
