I love my iron. Do I need to complete a warranty? FYI I just got rid of 2 Oliso irons - recycled. How long do the irons last?

This is such a beautiful iron. I got the matching iron board cover which is just as nice.

It came used right out of the box! It was dirty and may have had dried up water inside! I asked for an exchange right away, but now they want proof of purchase, serial numbers, etc. They didn’t even send me an invoice or packing slip. I am going to send back with their label, but after my vacation. After spending so much on an iron, I am so disappointed to receive a used one. Where was quality control?
