Favorite pants

My go to pants, super comfortable and have been holding up great. In my opinion the only improvement would be to add a couple more belt loops.

Second pair of pants from Ripton ... a comparison

Ok, a few things I'm learning as I go through this journey. First, with Ription products I could size down another size. I usually wear 31 waists, and with Ripton a 31 is comfortable, but I could go down to a 30 and have them be snug, but with the give of the fabric I'm sure it would be just fine. They do stretch out a little as well sooo... ya. Next pair I'm gonna try that. Second, I wear 31x31 normally, my utilities I got in a 31x30 and the length is spot on (My SLs I got in a 31x32 and cut two inches off the bottom ... both are the same, so consistency in manufacturing is good!). Third, the utilities are double layer on the front, a little heavier, a little warmer, but if I'm not running pads there is a bit more protection. Weather is cooling off for the fall and I think they will be a perfect go to bike park pant! As a bonus, I wear a CTI knee brace and its nice wearing it under my pants vs having to go over. I'm not fully bought in on the baggy pants thing ... but I do like them for that!
