Finding the right pick that does "the thing" you need it to do after 40 years of playing is a nice close to one of the many mini quests that all lifelong musicians are on. For me, this is the strummer; The one I will grab when I need all six strings singing loudly together in full sync under my right hand. It's simply a bit less percussive for that particular play style for me vs my blue chips, which I still prefer on my Taylor to tone down the innate over-brightness of my box of choice when doing single string or arpegiated movements.

My favorite pick at the moment. The small triangle shape is just right and the 45 thickness provides a tiny amount of flex - perfect for my playing style.
