Spider Mite Rapid Response

Just released them, so no results as of yet but that’s expected

I had a pretty bad infestation of spider mites and other pesties unknown in our outdoor milkweed and pollinator garden. The new homies arrived on a Thursday and I disbursed them that evening. By the end of the weekend, the spider mite webbing activity had largely stopped. I'm back to order some followup friends to keep it under control as it's my first season using predatory mites and I probably didn't order enough for the space I need them in, but I'm a big fan and will be adding preventive sachets to my spring planning for the future.

This is the second time i have ordered from this nursery and I'm afraid i won't be ordering anymore. The first batch of lacewing eggs never hatched, aside from 3 or 4 that were hatched upon arrival. They responded promptly to emails with my issue, but they had to give me a store credit instead of a refund. So i took the store credit and added it to these mites. Mites i have ordered many times from another company, so i know what to look for. There were no mites in this bottle, only a bottle of sawdust. They try to say "they're too tiny to see" but i have always seen my mites moving around upon arrival, period. They seem kinda like snake oil salesman. I will go back to natures good guys, where they ship with a proper 72 hour or longer ice pack. Mites are meant to be kept cold until use or they can die in the package, which is what i think happened to my "slow release sachets". These people freeze an ice pack and send that in the package. They should be using proper freeze packs.
