One of the Few Plugins I Preferred in Blind Tests

I spent quite a bit of time comparing NFuse directly against the real hardware through Access Analog, doing multiple level-matched A/B tests and quite a few blind comparisons. What surprised me most was how often I actually preferred the plugin. I would still love to own the hardware, and to my ears the saturation of the real unit can sometimes feel just a little less static and slightly more organic. But when judging the overall result rather than focusing on individual characteristics, I ended up choosing NFuse in almost every blind A/B test I did. Considering that the plugin costs only a fraction of the hardware while also offering all the advantages of working in software — instant recall, automation, multiple instances and a much faster workflow — that is extremely impressive. I also have to give a special mention to the support. I initially tried the demo but didn't really manage to test the plugin properly within the demo period. I contacted them, explained the situation, and they gave me another opportunity to demo it. That kind of customer support definitely deserves recognition. For me, NFuse is one of those rare analog-inspired plugins where the question is no longer simply, “How close does it get to the hardware?” In actual use, I often preferred what the plugin was doing. Excellent work.

Love this plugin so far! Definitely enjoy the eq, saturation and the widening aspects. Need to tinker with the compression a bit more.

Love it. If there is one Plugin, that comes close to Analog, it is this one.
