I have spent 7 winters in the Sonoran Desert, and the unique scent of the desert after rain is a treasure to find!
I also absolutely love to color of the candle jars...it is awesome to have a touch of the beautiful color of the natural rock of the desert.

It didn't smell exactly like I was hoping it would. I was expecting it to smell like what NM smells like after a big rain storm. 😉 I still love it though. The jar also wasn't as big as I thought it would be. Thanks for the free sniff sample of the snakebite cider.

Missing a little something. But still good.
Having grown up in Arizona, I used to enjoy the smell of the desert after a good rain. But to me this candle, while still good, seems to be missing the hint of sweetness I remember. Maybe a small shot of prickly pear or desert flower would round it out. Still a good candle though, reminds me of home.
