Sennheiser HD599 Open Back Headphones

Good value, solid product

There is nothing I could say that other's probably haven't. For an open back-style headphone at around $200AUD, it has a respectable sound signature and good sound stage. Easy to run for those without an external DAC/AMP The headband plastic makes creaking noises when placing them on your head (and feels somewhat fragile). Would recommend at a $200AUD or lower price.

A very nice upgrade from my old hd555

After my ageing hd555 finally needed to be replaced this was a very good fit. Similar style, excellent sound, and includes the second cable with 3.5mm jack instead of an adapter. Two thumbs up.

Outstanding Headphones

I couldn’t be happier with the HD599 headphones. The clarity of the classical music I listen to is outstanding. The comfort of the fit over my ears is so good you could think they were made with my ears specifically in mind. Congratulations Sennheiser, you have done it again. These are the fifth set of Sennheiser headphones I have purchased and they won’t be the last.
