Documentation and Config Experience Needs Work
I have very mixed feelings about these sensors.
Pros:
- Easy to get connected to Home Assistant
- Very responsive and quick to detect
Cons
- Extremely sensitive, which means you'll likely need to setup exclusion zones
- Process for setting up exclusion zones is extremely complicated
- The HLKRadarTool they recommended for configuring the sensors is garbage and does not work on Android 16
- The process for setting up exclusion zones in HASSIO is also extremely complex and doesn't provide you any real time visuals for figuring out where to place your zones
- The documentation is a good start but really needs to be simplified. Map out what the most common user journeys ar and take me through a simple set of steps to complete them
As mentioned, I really want to like these sensors and appreciate what Apollo is doing in this space...but the whole experience needs more polish.

Cool Presense Sensor with extra sensors.
The presense sensor works great as well as the add on CO2 sensor.
My main issue that I mounted it in the corner of a room before realizing that the zones have to be squared with the sensor. Given the FOV of the sensor is 120 degrees it would be nice to mount the sensor in the corner of a room and then have the zones 45 degrees to the sensor.
