A3-60

Hello. I was blessed to have bought a new D-18 a couple of months ago and love everything about it. I thought I might try a couple of boutique picks to find out if they can enhance the sound. The Token A3-60 enhances the tone and playing experience in a very positive way. The volume of both single notes and chords is increased slightly and the notes more defined. The A3-60 adds a sparkle to the sound. The warm woody tone remains with no mud in the tone. The 1.5mm A3-60 is a clean and fast pick. It glides through the strings and there is no chirp or click. Dynamics are easier to control. The material doesn’t seem to cup after long use. It maintains its shape and seems to be very durable material. All in all I think the A3-60 is a great pick and I will be purchasing a few more for spares. The improvement in sound and playability is worth it.

When you’re tone maxxxing on your guitar for bluegrass style flat and crosspicking, this pick is very nice. Consistent in its integrity, it is machined nicely and beefs up your tone and clarity. This pick adds a little resonance that isn’t there with ordinary triangle thick picks

I have quite a few of the well known brand flatpicks. All bring something to the table regarding sound and feel. I must say the bevels feel just right in terms of attack and pass through the strings nicely. Very comfortable pick with enough grip that you can keep a relaxed hand. Also the sound is very controlled, warm but also articulate and the highs aren't piercing. Very nice pick
