Initially I bought a quart of this paint to try in my office. I love the way it looked and ended up buying a gallon, which was enough to cover the three walls in a medium sized room. It definitely takes two coats. It is a thicker paint and considered using floetrol to give myself enough time to cover the walls, but it actually wasn’t necessary. A second coat is definitely needed, but the color is breathtaking.

Beautiful color and covered previously primed and white painted textures walls (by builder/seller) very well. Order a little more than you plan to use as the paint as a little thin. Worse case you have a little extra foe touch ups!
