Set is as described - and that's good. The quality of play depends on who's playing.

Pros - it is as described and that's good. It is nice to be able to read and trust product descriptions. I'm a beginner and this is my first exposure to a clock, so I can't compare it to others, but it worked as I expected. The pieces I got make extremely embarrassing blunders, but I'm pretty sure that's 100% user error. It appears that they would work just fine in the hands of a grand master. Cons - The set I received needed a good airing out before use. The new set had a very strong vinyl/new car odor to the point of being unpleasant and I'm not that sensitive. I washed the bag and roll up vinyl board with with warm water and dish soap, rinsed thoroughly, and let everything dry in a sunny window for several days. After a few days the odor abated.
