Love the BC Tamping Station - the basket, not so much

We love our BC Tamping Station, but the basket not so much. It takes QUITE some aggression with the bang box to remove the puck – which is inappropriate for coffee at 06:30am, and sometimes STILL not enough to dislodge it. The issue seems to be that the side walls of the basket are completely vertical, whereas our OEM Rancilio basket has a slight taper, which helps the puck fall out after each shot without unnecessary force. I'm hoping a "v2" will introduce the slightest taper, but I can't recommend this version. We've retired it after barely a week in use. :-(

Shots taste cleaner and more consistent. Solid quality and works exactly as described.
