Mahjong Lessons

My daughter-in-law and I have taken all 3 lessons at Beauty Shop (both locations). Ashley is a great teacher! The classes are fun and informative without being intimidating. Everyone is so kind and supportive! It's exciting to see the progress we have made in our games. We will continue to come back for open play if it's offered (please Ashley 🙏)! I would definitely recommend learning the game through these lessons. Well worth it!

Repetition is a good thing! Especially when Ashley is teaching MahJong at the Beauty Shop. I had taken a few classes, and begun playing MahJong regularly with friends at the same beginner-level. So some of what was covered in MahJong 101 was familiar. But Ashley's teaching approach meant that I still learned a lot - especially about the structure of the hands on the Official MahJong card. Ashley is informative, supportive and very encouraging. Her approach is simple - it's complicated at the beginning, there are rules and etiquette to learn, and the best way to get better is to play! I am looking forward to more classes - and to shopping at the Beauty Shop! (So many of my favorite "clean" brands!)
